Today...just a little thought to a great man...

 

3 years already...

Michael Jackson is part of the people I admire.

 He's a musical genius , a talented dancer , in short a  brilliant artist, and ...a kind-hearted man.

 I had been lucky to attend at Michael Jackson concert in Nice for the Bad World Tour August 14, 1988.

It will forever remain an unforgettable moment in my life. Probably the most spectacular show I have seen untill today!

 

3ans déjà...

Michael Jackson fait parti des gens que j'admire.

Génie de la musique, talentueux danseur, bref un brillant artiste et...un homme de coeur.

J'ai eu la chance d'assister au concert Bad World Tour le 14 août 1988 au stade de Nice.

Cela restera un inoubliable moment de bonheur gravé dans ma vie.

Probablement le plus spectaculaire des shows que j'ai pu voir  à ce jour!

The rumor fueled the tabloids for several months now. It's official: between Vanessa Paradis, 39, and Johnny Depp, 49, it’s well and truly over.

We did not expect seeing them split up and here it is...

They were young, beautiful and rich, a glamorous and a discreet couple.

It's a pity, I 've loved seeing them together

La fin d'une divine romance. Depuis quelques mois déjà, la rumeur courait. C'est officiel entre vanessa 39 ans et Johnny 49ans, c'est bel et bien fini...Il étaient jeunes beaux et riches. Un couple glamour et discret. On ne s'attendait pas à les voir se séparer.

Dommage....on aimait les voir ensemble, il faisait un beau couple.

Back from Cannes 2012

Cannes

It's been already 3 weeks  that we came back from Cannes. I was very happy to see my family. I did that trip with two friends, we found other ones who were there too  for the events. So we saw the beautiful Eva Longoria on the red carpet ... and approaching a crowd  at the entrance of the Majestic hotel, we were surprised to see Bruce Willis getting out of a  limousine.

During this week we moved a lot because  one of my friend did not know the region. So one day in St Tropez and  St. Raphael,  Monaco , another in St. Paul de Vence via the Baie des Anges in Nice. Visiting a perfume factory in Grasse and Antibes / Juan-les-Pins  for shopping of course! . In conclusion:a  wonderful stay as usual.  We left Cannes on May 19 as the rain began to fall but we were fortunate to have had a sunny week except for our day in St. Tropez,  the sky was cloudly...as usual too during the festival  (the weather is often bad). Here are the pics.

Cela fait 3 semaines déjà que nous sommes revenus de Cannes. J'ai été super contente de revoir toute ma famille. Partie avec 2 copines,  nous avons retrouvés des amis qui étaient là-bas aussi pour les évènements. Donc, nous avons vu entre autres,  la belle Eva Longoria sur le tapis rouge...et en s'approchant d’une foule amassée à l’entrée du Majestic hotel nous avons eu la surprise de voir Bruce Willis saluer la foule en descendant d'une limousine. Pour le coup sans s’y attendre, nous étions aux premières « loges »

Durant cette semaine on a beaucoup bougé puisque l’une de mes amies ne connaissait pas la region donc : une journée à St-Tropez, une autre à Monaco et St-Paul de Vence en passant par la baie des Anges de Nice. Visite d'une parfumerie à Grasse et Antibes/ Juan -les-Pins pour le shopping :) , un tour à St-Raphaêl .En conclusion : merveilleux séjour . Nous avons quittés Cannes le 19 mai quand la pluie s'est mis à tomber. On a eu la chance d'avoir une semaine ensoleillée sauf pour notre journée à St- Tropez ou le ciel est resté couvert. June 6, memorable day

Hello everyone!

Although one of my resolutions earlier this year was to be less stressed and get some more free time, (what I am doing) I regret not being very active right now on my blog.

So I take time because today is a great day. It 's my childhood friend 's Birthday.
But June 6 th is also a memorable day in the history of France :)

Omaha Beach en Normandie

For July 4 , 2007.

In the spirit of its mission statement, “The French Will Never Forget” (www.thefrenchwillneverforget.com), organized an extraordinary gathering of approximately 2500 people in Omaha Beach ,Normandy, one of the 5 American landing beaches during World War II June 6, 1944.

The crowd formed on the sand the letters of the phrase: “FRANCE WILL NEVER FORGET” A tribute from  French for  American soldiers who lost their lives to liberate occupied France by Hitler's Germany.

The scene was filmed and photographed by two helicopters, the images were broadcast on TV around the world.

 Bien que l'une de mes résolutions en début d'année était d'être moins stressée et de prendre un peu plus de temps libre, ( ce que je fais ) je regrette de ne  pas être très présente en ce moment sur mon blog .

Mais je prends quelques minutes car

aujourd'hui est un grand jour puisque c'est l'Anniversaire de mon amie d'enfance Graziella.
Mais le 6 juin est aussi un jour mémorable dans l'histoire de France :)

Le 4 juillet 2007 ,

2500 personnes ont formé une chaîne humaine sur Omaha Beach en Normandie, l’une des 5 plages du débarquement américain lors de la seconde guerre mondiale le 6 juin 1944.

Le message disait « France will never forget » (la France n’oubliera jamais)

Un vibrant hommage des Francais aux soldats américains qui ont perdu la vie pour libérer la France occupée par l’Allemagne de Hitler.

La scène a été filmée et photographiée par deux hélicoptères, les images ont été retransmises sur les tv du monde entier.

Et comme les beaux jours arrivent,  j'ai fait des essais de couleurs sur mes ongles :)
